Barbara Ann Corcoran

 Barbara Ann Corcoran is an American businesswoman from America. The Corcoran Group was a New York City real estate brokerage she established. NRT purchased it for $66million in 2001. Corcoran eventually left the business. Corcoran was one of the first Shark Tank investors. She has appeared on every season of ABC's Shark Tank. She has participated in 53 deals since February of 2020. The most significant was a $350,000 investment that will provide 40 percent of Coverplay. Corcoran was born in Edgewater (New Jersey) as the second child of ten in a Catholic Irish working class family. Florence Corcoran was Florence's mom and was a homemaker. Her father, Edwin W. Corcoran Jr. moved between jobs throughout Corcoran's youth. In times, her family relied on deliveries of food for free from a friendly local grocer. Corcoran remembers her father as an alcohol-dependent drunkard who often treated her mother with disrespect and disrespect, especially after the fact that he was drinking. Corcoran struggled in school, and she later found out she was dyslexic. Corcoran was a student at a local Catholic elementary school and started high school at St. Cecilia High School in Englewood. Corcoran was a failure in numerous classes in her freshman year, moved to Leonia High School. There, she received a D.
